It's hard to gauge this descent, but it is STEEP...I mean 'off the back of your bike, saddle in your belly' steep. There is a totally rideable line, but it's an advanced section of trail. The rider farthest away has a standard pack. If you look closely it is clearly riding up his back, probably whacking him in the head, and flopped to one side. Unstable, floppy, and distracting. Now look at the Wingnut pack on the closer rider. All the weight is staying put, not moving, not distracting, and a lot more comfortable.
Also, Wingnuts are lighter, made in NY, and not profiting off the war like some other companies. All politics aside, they are a great product that I like to promote!

Another Wingnut lover here. Been loving my wingnut for over 3 years and its just started showing signs of wear. A 3.0 may be the next pack upon my back.
