For mom

Day #6 involved no driving on my part. After a valiant effort, several bike trips with the trailer, and many phone calls, the WifeChild Unit was "forced" into the wagon for a trip to Target. Greta got enough money for her b-day to get a 'razor' scooter. There are several toy or dept stores within biking or walking distance, but they either did not stock or were our of stock on this particular item.

Another interesting question for the average person. Do you wait for the local store, get in the car to the big box store, or order online? You could right a book on the subject and many have. In addition to driving less, this country seriously needs to revamp the freight train infrastructure and get away from the wasteful truck based delivery methods.

regarding your question. I do a little of both, order on line or store. It sort of depends. Around the holidays its "easier" on some levels to order a book off amazon and maybe a cd (make the shipping worth it). Clothing i need to try on, so it is VERY rare to order that on line. I think there are items you need to handle and talk to folks about too before buying.

I'd say store 75% online 25%

I was not referring to the scooter trip -- more the dinner out trip
